The slag dryer is also a rotary dryer, mainly composed of a rotary cylinder, air induction equipment, high-speed dispersing equipment and lifting plates.     The specially designed retaining wheel structure greatly reduces the horizontal thrust caused by the inclined operation of the equipment. With strong overload resistance, the cylinder runs stably and reliably.

Working Principle

Slag is first shoveled into the feeder by a forklift, then evenly conveyed to the belt conveyor by the feeder, and then enters the dryer through the material guide pipe. Heat generated by fuel combustion in the hot blast stove enters the main machine under the action of the exhaust fan and contacts with the slag. Turned over by the uniformly distributed lifting plates inside the drying drum, the slag is evenly dispersed and fully contacts with hot air, accelerating the heat and mass transfer of slag drying and water evaporation.
The slag dryer produced by our company has a sealed structure, which can effectively reduce heat loss and improve thermal efficiency. The dried slag is discharged through the discharge hopper and conveyed to the designated location for storage. The upper part of the discharge hopper is used to discharge dust and other impurities generated in the process, which can meet environmental protection requirements after being treated by the dust removal system.
