Semi-coke Dryer – Product Introduction
The semi-coke dryer is dedicated to drying semi-coke. Also known as semi-coke breeze, semi-coke is a new type of carbon material made from high-quality clean coal blocks. The semi-coke dryer is specially designed and manufactured according to the properties of semi-coke. With advanced scientific design, it can not only dry middling coal, but also lignite, gangue and other materials.

Semi-coke Dryer – Product Advantages
-
Concurrent-flow Drying, Low Outlet Temperature
Adopting the concurrent-flow drying method, flue gas and wet materials enter the dryer from the same side. High-temperature flue gas can be fully utilized to achieve high evaporation intensity, resulting in low outlet temperature and high thermal efficiency of the dryer. -
Multi-channel Pulverized Coal Burner as Heat Source, Strong AdaptabilityThe heat source of the semi-coke dryer adopts a multi-channel burner equipped with an oil injection ignition device, along with a dedicated fuel supply system for burner ignition. The extension length and angle of the burner are adjustable.
Semi-coke Dryer – Working Principle & Process Flow
The semi-coke dryer is mainly composed of a heat source, feeding device, belt feeder, rotary drum, belt discharger, induced draft fan, dust collector and power distribution cabinet. The working principle of the equipment is as follows: After wet materials enter the drying drum, they go through the following working zones:

- Material Guiding Zone: Wet materials enter this zone and come into contact with high-temperature hot air, where moisture is rapidly evaporated. Driven by the lifting plates with large guide angles, the materials are guided to the next zone without caking.
- Lifting & Cleaning Zone: Wet materials are lifted by the lifting plates to form a material curtain in this zone. When the materials fall, they tend to adhere to the drum wall. Thanks to the built-in cleaning device, the materials adhering to the inner wall are effectively removed. Meanwhile, the cleaning device also crushes agglomerated material lumps, increasing the heat exchange area and improving the drying rate.
- Inclined Lifting Plate Zone: In this zone, wet materials turn into a loose state with low moisture content. After sufficient heat exchange, the materials reach the required moisture level and move to the final discharging zone.
- Discharging Zone: There are no lifting plates in this zone of the drum. The materials roll and slide to the discharge port, completing the entire drying process.
